Maya's Getting Dreadlocks! Silver Temple & Satruday Night Market: Chiang Mai, Thailand

What do dreadlocks, a silver temple, and the Chiang Mai Saturday Night market all have in common? They are all featured in this video.

Maya is on a quest. She has done hours and hours of research on dreadlocks and she has finally decided it is time to turn her free flowing locks into dreads. Marisa and Maya go out shopping for crochet hooks to begin the process.

After a crochet hook shopping spree, we visit Wat Sri Suphan which is also known as the Chiang Mai Silver Temple. It is an amazing and unique temple that is outlayed in silver (and aluminum). The detail is amazing.

After a visit to the temple we visit the famous Saturday Night Market in Chiang Mai. They close down a whole street and fill it with food stalls and crafts galore. We sampled lots of good Thai food and even ordered some custom leather flip flops.

All in all, another great day in Chiang Mai, which is quickly becoming one of our favorite cities in the world.
