'The Left treats working class voters like an elderly, embarrassing relative'

talkRADIO's Julia Hartley-Brewer is joined by author Paul Embery to discuss his new book 'Despised: Why the Modern Left Loathes the Working Class'.

The trade unionist says many of the working class hold "traditional, socially conservative views" and the Left “needs to get back in touch with people".

"They treat working class working class voters almost as if they’re some sort of elderly embarrassing relative – they want their votes but they don’t particularly want to be seen in public with them."
