How to change your ResMed AirSense 10 Humidifier settings

A brief guide to changing the humidity (temperature, moisture) settings for your ResMed AirSense 10 device. We also show you how to turn the humidifier off. We recommend turning the humidifier off if you are powering your machine using a battery or converter. Just making a quick video for you to educate you on how to change the humidifier settings on your machine.

Two reasons for doing this. One, you may want to turn the humidifier off so you can run the machine off a battery or converter using less power. Or, secondly, you may want to adjust the temperature or moisture settings on your machine.

Just one thing, before we go ahead there, it's important to know that there's no right or wrong humidifier setting. It's there for your comfort. So feel free to adjust it and have a play around until you work out what works best for you. It may also change from season to season. So just bear that in mind as well.

Okay. So, changing the settings on your machine, you'll be on your home screen here. If this isn't the screen your seeing, just press the home button there, and that will get you back.

So, for my options, you want to go down to climate control. That's on automatic. You want to change that over to manual.

Once there, go down to there two, temperature. 27 degrees is the default setting here, so you can only go warmer with that. Or we can go cooler with that. If it keeps going down, you will get that to off. Then we'll go down to the humidity level. Again, you can get more moisture, or you can get less moisture, or scroll all the way down to off.

We recommend going down to off if you are using a battery or converter because this will use less power when you're using your machine.

Remember with your humidity settings, there's no right or wrong setting. Do it to what is comfortable for you. We like the automatic setting on the AirSense 10, so we recommend using that. If you do want to adjust it, have a play around. See how you go. If you're finding it too difficult, we now have the ability to change this from the office using AirView.
