How to Properly Wash your Locs

Get the excess oils and build up from your locs and scalp. Steps to follow for a deep refreshing clean. Easy how to guide for cleansing your hair at home.

Step 1. Thoroughly wet your hair. This is to allow for easy distribution of shampoo or cleansing agent.

Step 2. Apply and evenly distribute shampoo. Lather and scrub your scalp and wash locs to remove surface oil and build up.

Step 3. Rinse & Repeat step 2 but this time make small parts to gain easier access to scalp. Section and wash locs.

Step 4. Rinse and perform final lather. This is to ensure removal of any trace of dirt, oils, build up etc.

Step 5. Thoroughly rinse and apply conditioner. Gently & slowly massage scalp. (Optional: Cover with shower cap for 10-15 minutes).

Step 6. Rinse and style as desired.
