Rear Brake Caliper Functional Restoration - Ford Transit (Piston and Seals Replacement)

In this video I replace the piston and seals on the rear brake caliper of a Ford Transit van. During a routine disc and pads change I noticed the dirt seal around the piston had split and the piston had become severely rusted. This meant the piston and seals needed to be replaced to ensure the safe operation of the vans brake system.

Caliper Rebuild kit – contains news seals and piston
Heavy duty degreaser.
Threadlocker
WD40
Wire brush.
Copper slip grease – for anti-seize and rust prevention on the shafts and moving parts.
Various sockets, spanners and allen keys
