The Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO), is a critical piece of NASA’s Artemis program and humanity’s journey back to the Moon and beyond.

Part of the planned Gateway lunar space station, the first permanent outpost to orbit the Moon, HALO is where astronauts will live and conduct research while visiting the space station or going to and from the surface of the moon, helping to prepare astronauts for future missions to Mars.
