2020 November G New Items

This video shows you some of the many new items PIKO has made for November of 2020! (We couldn't show everything, so we chose the most popular ones for the video.) The video starts with brand new tooling for a European diesel, the sound version of the PIKO 37591 DR IV BR106 Diesel Loco with Digital Decoder (PIKO SmartSound DCC) and Sound! We show you some of the many effects and images, as well as some sound samples on this fascinating loco.
After this, the video shows you some quick images of the 7 other European products that were new in November 2020.

Moving on to the American prototypes... we show you the 38772 Christmas Hot Cocoa Tank Car - which had to stay in the box because they were all already sold out and headed to hobby stores! (Hopefully you ordered one because when we say they Produced Only Once... we mean it.) This tank car has a great holiday design and is sure to look great around a Christmas Tree or in your collection.

Jonathan then shows off the new 38112 D&RGW Passenger R/C Starter Set, which has smoke and analog sound. The set comes with a safety-approved power supply and circle of the BEST brass track on the market. Of course, the set also has the loco and tender plus the combine and passenger cars shown.

Following the starter set, we have the 38508 Clean Machine Green. This Clean Machine is just like the original yellow one (38501) which took the market by storm. 38508 has a great green color and some small decoration modifications. The Clean Machine uses 6x AAA rechargeable batteries (batteries not included) to remove oxidation from your rails. The model has a simple forward/off/reverse switch so you can put it on the tracks and just let it run. You can easily pick it up when you track is clean and ready for other trains.

After the Clean Machine Green, we have the next two in a series of Vintage Warbird Hoppers from PIKO. First is the 38909 Vintage Warbird F4U Hopper, depicting two variants of the Vought F4U Corsair. The second is the 38903 Vintage Warbird P-47 Hopper which shows off the Thunderbolt (or "Jug") that was made famous for being extremely durable on missions.
