Navy Lt. Ridge Alkonis still in custody even after return to US

Navy Lt. Ridge Alkonis' wife wants her husband home, telling Leland Vittert, “At the end of the day, he’s the Commander in Chief, and I think he has a responsibility to do right by service members and my children, my husband, our family. We’ve suffered for two and a half years. Surely that’s enough.”

Lt. Ridge Alkonis is in U.S. custody after being transferred from a Japanese jail, where he spent 507 days locked up on charges of negligent driving.
