Ruby The Mule

Ruby is a steady minded 13 year old, 13.3 hand bay dun mule with fancy striped legs and a dishy baby doll face. Agile, surefooted, and strong, she has been there, & done that and prefers to mosey along through life. We have used her as a kids/guest horse and she will happily pack along beginners big and small as well as more advanced riders. The family we got her from also used her as a child's mount. She was said to drive single and double, however we do not have the equipment for that. Nothing phases her. Going through the drive through, riding through deep mud, going through water, loud vehicles, she doesn't care. She is easy to catch, will follow you around hoping for attention, stands for grooming/tacking/farrier. She is easy to load/unload in the trailer and gets along with the other horses regardless of whether they are rude or not. She rides out alone or in a group. She likes to be friends with the world and is easygoing and steady. She will walk down the trail all day and happily climbs through mud, over trees, through briars, over bridges etc. Deer and turkey can flush under her nose and she doesn't bat an eye, she doesn't have any spook in her. She neck reins but is a bit rusty from being ridden mostly by beginners. Her preferred speed of travel is a walk. She will trot if asked. If you really want her to she will canter, but it isn't really her thing and she hopes you won't ask for a lot of it. She will work as a packhorse, ride double or triple, and can trailride all day without breaking a sweat. She is an easy keeper and has excellent barefoot feet. She doesn't mind rocks etc and requires no special maintenance. Selling her due to no fault of her own. She has been a wonderful fit for our family.
