BORNEO JUNGLE SOUNDSCAPE

This video was shot on a Canon XA10 in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo whilst on a tour conducted by 'Raw Wildlife Encounters'. Editing was done using Final Cut Pro 7 with the help of the plugin 'PHYX Defocus' (which is rather processor intensive). Most audio was captured (separately) using the camera's inbuilt microphones, but sounds requiring full audio band-width (eg: lightning/thunder, waterfalls) were library files. The camera, although limited in zoom range, did a great job, (including it's night-vision IR shots), although it's very difficult to adequately capture the heat and humidity !
