With its heavy duty punching motor and a built-in electric coil inserter, the Akiles* CoilMac-EPI is a professional system that makes coil binding fast, easy, and convenient. Designed for commercial volume workloads, it offers a heavy duty motor and state of the art features.

The CoilMac-EPI features an electric punch with high volume punching capacity of up to 25 sheets of 20 lb bond. The electric reverse anti-jam function provides trouble free punching. The die is a 4:1, .250 pitch with 4 millimeter round holes.

The side margin control makes sure the punched holes are evenly centered for all document sizes.

The 5 dis-engage able punch pins are designed to punch most standard paper sizes.

The punch offers an extended 13" punching length with open ends for larger size documents and the continuous punch guide makes it easy to punch documents of any length up to 26".

The punching gutter margin control provides the correct punch-margin-depth for each coil size and maximizes the document's tear resistance.

The built-in electric coil inserter makes binding books quick and easy. The full length inserting rollers provides high friction making this inserter one of the easiest-to-use. The front-mounted roller position gives operator greater control and improves efficiency. While the foot-pedal operation allows for hands free binding.

A U-shaped alignment channel assists the operator to properly shape the document's spine, for faster and easier coil insertion

To operate, simply start the first couple loops of coil by hand. Hit the foot pedal to start the roller spinning and tap the coil against the roller. The coil automatically spins into the holes that were punched in the document.

All of our coil binding systems include a pair of hand cutter crimping pliers at no additional charge. Simply insert the end of the coil into the crimping tool and squeeze.
