Devilman: Making Moms Mad for 50 Years.

Devilman was one of the most controversial manga to shock Japan in the early 1970's. Mangaka Go Nagai's classic series starring Akira Fudou who sacrifices his body to the demon Amon in order to save humanity was much more than meets the eye, literally. A mix of comedy, edgy shock value, and deep existential questioning about the nature of man there is a reason Devilman is beloved around the world after 50 years.
