The lesson begins with the chord shapes: G and Am. This is one of the easiest songs on guitar; it only uses two chords. We work out the switch and then we practice the chord shapes using downstrokes only, counting along so we can learn how to keep our place in the song and avoid getting lost.

Next we learn the strumming pattern. This song is in 3/4, so I think it's important that you learn how to count it properly and really feel the beat and THEN we learn the strokes and apply it to the song.

We put the strumming pattern together with our chord progression and play through it all. This one is really simple, really quick and could be your very first song on guitar!

I finished the lesson by going over how I would practice this. So you can get the most from your practice time.
