Plant-hunting in Baguio City and Tuba in Benguet!

Baguio City had just opened for travelers. No travel pass needed. No medical certificate needed. First time since the Covid-19 pandemic.

Now is the best time to go. Most hotels are half-off and plenty to choose from even for walk-ins. Nice hotels are very affordable like the Venus Park View Hotel where we stayed in.

Visit the Orchidarium. It's the garden center of Baguio. Located next to Burnham Park. There are more than enough shops to fill your day. And plenty of plants variety to choose from.

The Maryknoll Ecological Sanctuary is a great place to visit to experience just being one with nature. Perfect time to go because not many tourists know this place. Fresh air. Lots of greens. Just nice to have a long walk. Very instagrammable. Only about 7 minutes drive from Burnham Park.

Tuba, Benguet also offers tons of plants right along the highway. You won't miss it as you enter or exit Baguio.

This vlog is all about plants. All sort of genus, cultivars, and varieties. Although I prefer some genus more than the others; I can definitely appreciate all plant family. Yes, I'm more geared towards variegated plants and I also consider my self more of an aroid-head.

Plants are outrageously expensive currently, so I strive to find where's the cheapest plant I can get my hands on. Be that in a far-flung place or just around my neighborhood or near me. The excitement I get in plant-hunting for rare or variegated plants; both indoor and outdoor, is what I like to share to people with the same interest. Share the adventures in visiting places teeming with plants, like nurseries, garden shops, garden boutiques, garden centers, city parks, neighborhood garden park or even a house tour. And equally important is the price of a plant.

I have added these plants to my personal care and collections; like monsteras, philodendron, anthurium, syngonium, epipremnun, scindapsus, amydrium, (pothos), piper, peperomia, alocasia, caladium, dracaena, hoyas, sansevieria, begonia, and every variegated plants I can get my hands on.
