Disgraced Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins has died after being attacked inside HMP Wakefield. The 48-year-old was serving a 29-year sentence for multiple child sex offences, including the attempted rape of a baby. Police confirmed two inmates have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the assault. Watkins, once a global rock star, had previously survived a prison attack in 2023.
