Diy Headlight Angel Eyes Retrofit

These are the steps I took to install angel eyes in my headlights. I am not a professional and some steps might not be right or could be done differently, this is just how I installed them. The headlights are off a ford focus mk2 but could be used on other cars.

Here are the steps I took:
- heat the headlight (particularly the seal) and slowly pry the headlight lens from the body
- take the headlight completely apart and sprayed some internal parts with heat resistant paint (for looks)
- sanded the lens and then polished in increasing grade (to remove overspray and stonechips)
- used a sealer to protect the back of the angel eye from heat from the main beam and brights and attach in place
- reassembled the headlight and finally installed (on these headlights, the lens sealed with the body with a ribber gasket, other headlights may need appropriate sealer)
