9 DAY 8 NIGHT HIKING 70 MILES AND CAMPING AT MANY A WILDERNESS LAKE -- BACKPACK ALONE IN BEAR COUNTRY WITH MY SON -- MOUNTAIN BACKPACKING AND FISHING TRIP -- 4K VIDEO
We ventured into the Bridger-Teton and Shoshone National Forest. We began this adventure at Elkhart Park Trailhead. To get to our intended alpine lakes entailed working our way through rocky mountains and over five passes. Our arduous hike aggregated nearly 21,000 feet, but the expansive views, all worth the grind! Exploring our way through seven drainages. The Bull Creek Lake drainage has the fish we want to catch, fillet and eat. How did the fisherman do this time? Unfortunately abnormally poor! However, we consider this camp in the woods to have been a success. The catching, cooking and eating part, not so much.
