Sebastian “The Towering Inferno” Fundora (from Coachella, California, U.S.) defended his WBC Super Welterweight World Championship against Tim “The Soul Taker” Tszyu (from Sydney, Australia) in their rematch on July 19, 2025, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The fight ended in the 7th round when Tszyu’s corner decided he could no longer continue, giving Fundora a technical knockout (RTD – corner stoppage) and allowing him to retain his title.

From the opening bell, Fundora used his height and reach to good effect, dropping Tszyu with a left hook in round one to set the tone. Tszyu showed heart, tried to mount pressure, especially in rounds five through seven, but Fundora’s jab and consistent output kept him ahead. As the 7th round ended, it was clear Tszyu was taking too much damage, and the fight was wisely stopped.
