From April of 1977, here is part 6 of a CBS special called "When Television Was Young," with the late Charles Kuralt. An excellent special about TV in the 1950s, there is plenty of archival footage here. Remember, this was shown in the late 70s, before we had 100+ cable channels, DVDs, video stores, or the Internet!
