Kara-Batkak Glacier is a closed type glacier on the northern side of the Terskey Ala-Too. It is 3.5 km long, 300–400 m wide and covers an area of ​​4.5 km2. Located in the basin of the Great Red River. The top of the glacier is 4,800 m above sea level, and the base is 3,300 m above sea level. The snow line is 4050 m high. The ablation area is 1.6 km2. The base of the glacier is slightly sloping and wide. Between the Armed Forces and the "tongue" lies a glacier with a height of 20-30 m. On the left side of the glacier, uranium fragments of rocks form a pile.
