Thinking About Dyeing My Gray Hair Blonde

As an actress, I have changed my hair color many times. I never minded back in the day when I was coloring my hair to hide my gray. But now that I have fully embraced my natural gray, what happens when I have to change my hair color for film? What if the director specifically asks me to dye my hair and doesn't want a wig?
