Philippines Beach House Build Day 222: Street Side Power Tool Repair

In today's episode we are in the city on travel passes and while we are there we go to pick up our power tools dropped off for repair. They only repaired one tool and yet charged us a service fee for looking at all three. On the sidewalk just outside of their business I saw a couple guys repairing tools on the sidewalk. I told Melinda these guys will fix them I bet with no excuses. I was right. Turns out the drill only needed the power cord trimmed down a couple inches. Where it bends out the bottom of the handle always the wires had broke inside and it lost connection. Couple of snips and it was back going like a new one. My grinder needed a armature but they even had a used one they sold me and installed for $700 pesos. Tools done!
We head home going thru more strict military checkpoints. They want to keep city people in the city and province people in the province. As we pulled up the the second checkpoint the officer recognized us and just sent us on.
We got home to see the waves really rolling on the Sulu Sea as the wind is blowing hard. I go up to see what all work was done while we was gone that morning. Let's see what they got done today on the cast form concrete home build project.
