Central Sicily | Leonforte - The special fountain

Sicily in lands are stunning with amazing scenery and hidden mountains villages and towns where you see another side of Sicily than tourist destinations. I always recommend guests to do a small road trip in Sicily, then you find the real treasures of this island.

Saw a photo of a very special fountain and located it to a small town in central Sicily, Leonforte with 13,000 inhabitants. Had to see it with my own eyes. After two hour drive from Catania on winding mountain roads I finally arrived.
Amazing is that the water is drinkable.
