Recipe
5 slices of plant based white bread
¼ cup Soy sauce ( I use low sodium )
3 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoons nutritional yeast
2 tablespoons mushroom seasoning
1 tablespoon liquid smoke
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 tablespoons maple syrup
¼ teaspoon black pepper

*Cut the crust off your white bread
*Using a rolling pin flatten your bread very thin
*Cut the bread sheets into bacon sized strips. About 3 strips per slice of bread
*Add everything except the bread to a bowl and whisk together
*Once whisked toss the bread into the sauce and let the strips soak up the sauce
*Heat a non stick skillet over a medium heat with a little cooking oil
*Fry your bread bacon sticks in the pan on each side until browned.
*I used some chopsticks on a drying rack to help curl the bacon strips
