"THEY SAY IT'S OUR CENTENNIAL!" KIWANIS CLUB OF ANN ARBOR "VERY TOGETHER"

Enjoy the highlights of the summer picnic and social during our anniversary year (2021). Washtenaw County's diverse community helper, the Very Together Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor (501(c)(3) corporation, was chartered on June 13, 1921 by Kiwanis International. The 152-member club (2020) is dedicated to the common good. Through the years, we survived a national Depression, World Wars and 18 presidential administrations in providing humanitarian and educational support to non-profit agencies and academic scholarships. In 100 years, over $8,500.000 in club philanthropy is funneled back into the community through its dedicated members & volunteers. Most of the club's revenue is generated through the nation's largest Garage Sale- the Kiwanis Thrift Sale at the Kiwanis Center on Staebler Road, off Jackson Road, just east of Baker Road. It began in 1927, and has evolved into a popular recycling event of household items, clothing, furniture, books, CDs and electronic computer and taping components and games. There's ample free, store-front parking for patrons. "Help Us, Help Kids," Families and Our Community" is the club's motto. For further information, contact a2kiwanis.org or 734.368-9738. Thank you for your interest and join by keeping us "Very Together!"
