The Favourite - Women Ballad _HD

The Favourite is a 2018 period black-comedy drama film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, and written by Deborah Davis and Tony McNamara. It is a co-production by producers in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
In early 18th century England, a frail Queen Anne occupies the throne and her close friend, Lady Sarah (Sarah Churchill, Duchess of Marlborough) governs the country in her stead. When a new servant, Abigail, arrives, her charm endears her to Sarah.
The story examines the relationship between two new cousins, Sarah Churchill and Abigail Masham, Baroness Masham, vying to be court favourites of Queen Anne.
