Destiny 2: Datto's Thoughts on Season of the Undying & The Future

Season of the Undying is coming to a close in the next couple of weeks. Today, we'll talk about the entire season "state of the game," style, along with how I feel about the future of the franchise heading into year 6.

Too Long, Didn't Watch: The gameplay portion of the season was lackluster, while the cosmetic portion (the season ranks) was good value. Shadowkeep carried and will carry the content burden this year. PvP still a mess thanks to broken weapons/exotics, but did get better with the super changes. Worried about amount of gameplay content going into year 6. I realize that I didn't talk about Eriana's Vow at all, we talked about it before the season a bit, but it's a good gun, just maybe not as popular as I thought it would be.

Just as a heads up, I'm gonna be super busy in December/January in terms of travel, so content will slow down during the holidays. I'm also currently experiencing some Destiny burn out, so I'm trying to take it easy as to not completely kill the game for myself.
