How Special Forces Insert From Helicopters #military #tutorial #shorts

U.S. Marines with Force Reconnaissance Platoon
fast roping from a UH-1Y Venom helicopter.

Fast rope insertion allows operators to deploy
from a hovering helicopter without landing —
descending a thick braided rope in 2-3 seconds.
Unlike rappelling, fast rope requires no harness
or equipment — only gloves and technique.
It is used when landing zones are too small,
too dangerous or require speed. Force Recon Marines
are among the most elite troops in the US military.
