Russian art and design collective AES+F envision a flawlessly surfaced world of aeroplanes crossed with dragons, centaurs wielding baseball bats, extraterrestrial models and aboriginal warriors. The extract featured here is a teaser for the third part of video trilogy: Last Riot (The Hell, 2007), The Feast of Trimalchio (The Paradise 2009), and now, Allegoria Sacra (The Purgatory, 2011). The project will be launched later this year as a 5 channel video installation with sound.

This teaser was specially produced for participation in Commercial Break, a video art intervention for the 54th Venice Biennale curated by Neville Wakefield, produced by the Garage Center for Contemporary Culture and powered by POST. Featuring the work of over 130 artists, Commercial Break is a constantly reforming and randomly sequenced stream of artist's ideas, suggesting a world in which content moves at the speed of advertising and attention itself is the ultimate product.
