How I'm Saving 70% of My Income In My 20's
In this video, I share my strategies and beliefs about saving money, derived from my experiences in college and now as a 24-year-old full-time engineer. Ironically, I chose this topic for my video on the same week Hurricane Ida crushed my family's store in PA. Saving money is important not only for your own financial goals, but also so that you can be prepared for emergencies that happen in life (like disastrous hurricanes).
There's a number of major expenses that most people face in life including housing, transportation, and food. I'll break down what I did in college and what I'm doing currently for these categories and hopefully, it provides some insight. Please note that I definitely didn't do the best with managing my money in college! I'm still learning everyday but I'm sharing these experiences solely for educational and entertainment purposes (NOT financial advice).
This video is a bit of a different style than my other videos (more educational, less vloggy, more memey) so please let me know if you liked it! Thank you again for watching and if you have time, please consider reading my family's story and donating in the link below. Any amount is appreciated.
