If Seiko didn't do this one thing, so many watches would not exist

About 2 years ago, Seiko did quite an amazing thing. They, along with Miyota a short time afterwards, finally made reliable and affordable GMT watches a reality. Of course, I'm talking about the advent of the 4R34 movement (and the unbranded NH34 that the industry uses). This automatic movement paved the way for hundreds of caller GMT watches. And we must thank them for that! All the engineering and development that went into it, we can all enjoy.
