Before my 22nd birthday, before I had graduated college, I had a net worth over 100k thanks to the plan I created for myself and a few clever investments.

You would think it’s just a matter of time, once you graduate, once you get a job, after you get a house and build equity, then you will be wealthy.

But that’s actually not the case because a survey published by the federal reserve found the median net worth of a 40 year old was only 90,000.

So if it’s not age, it must be income, right? All the wealthy people are high earners, when you make six figures a year from your job it’s easy to stack your wealthy. Turns out it also doesn’t really matter how much your boss pays you,

Another survey found that 60% of millennials making six figures a year are living paycheck to paycheck.

So then what is it that all these wealthy people have in common? How were they able to accumulate wealth despite their age, despite how much they make at their job and seemingly everything else.

It comes down to 3 money decisions that will allow you to make the biggest investment of your life which has made more millionaires than anything else.

The first is that the wealthy invest their money. But for some people this is unrealistic or impossible.

Next, you have to spend less than you make.

But to be honest “spending less than you make” is also kind of dumb solution to having more money. Not everyone can live like a broke college student.
But overcoming these challenges allowed me to make the biggest investment of my life when I was just 21.

There are some sacrifices that might have to be made to accomplish this and one of those is spending time to learn about how others have accomplished goals you set for yourself.
