Westwing is entering a new arena: The world of professional tennis. As proud sponsor of the Terra Wortmann Open, we're celebrating this exciting step with Well Played, a Wes Anderson–style campaign film that brings our Beautiful Living philosophy to the court, starring none other than tennis star Eva Lys.

At just 23 years old, Eva Lys is one of Germany’s most promising tennis talents. Born in Kyiv and raised in Germany, she began her career with an impressive start. On March 1st, 2020, she claimed victory at the AK Ladies Open and soon after, in 2021, became the German National Champion. In 2025, she made history as the first lucky loser to reach the Round of 16 at the Australian Open and has since climbed to 59th in the world rankings.

A connection between tennis and the world of home and living may not be immediately apparent. Yet both share a deeply rooted in an appreciation for aesthetics. Beyond performance and competition, tennis has long been associated with grace, style, and visual refinement. It is a sport that extends beyond the court, embodying a lifestyle shaped by sophistication, elegance, and timeless appeal.

Westwing betritt ein neues Spielfeld: Die Welt des Profitennis. Als stolzer Sponsor der Terra Wortmann Open bringen wir im Wes-Anderson-Stil gemeinsam mit Profi-Tennisspielerin Eva Lys unsere Beautiful Living Philosophie auf den Platz.

Mit gerade einmal 23 Jahren zählt Eva Lys zu einer der vielversprechendsten Tennis-Talente Deutschlands. In Kiew geboren und in Deutschland aufgewachsen, startete sie ihre Karriere mit gleich drei Titeln auf der ITF Women’s World Tennis Tour.

Am 1. März 2020 gewann sie das AK Ladies Open und wurde 2021 Deutsche Meisterin. 2025 schrieb sie Tennisgeschichte, als sie als erste Lucky Loserin das Achtelfinale der Australian Open erreichte. Seither hat sie sich bis auf Platz 59 der Weltrangliste hochgespielt.

Eine Verbindung zwischen Tennis und Home & Living ist vielleicht nicht auf den ersten Blick ersichtlich, doch beide Welten teilen eine tiefe Leidenschaft für Ästhetik.
