To Shoot the Blue Hour or the Golden Hour?

Whether to shoot the blue hour or the golden hour is question I frequently ask myself. Often prior to going to location I feel that a golden hour shoot is the one that will suit the subject most but when it comes to the results, I frequently sway the other way because the blue hour result often leaves me feeling more calmed. Conversely, the golden hour shot makes more of a statement but can be too shouty in some cases and calm is something I seek not only in life, but also in my images! I'm going to let the audience decide on this occasion, although I already know which I prefer. Blue hour or Golden hour?
