Surface is Veronica West's upcoming psychological thriller miniseries for Apple TV+.
The series is about a woman's journey to rebuild her life following a suicide attempt, and her struggle to comprehend everything that led up to that point.
The cast include: Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Sophie, Oliver Jackson-Cohen as James, Stephan James as Baden, Ari Graynor as Caroline, Marianne Jean-Baptiste as Hannah, François Arnaud as Harrison, Millie Brady as Eliza.
The series was ordered straight to series in November 2020, with Gugu Mbatha-Raw set to star and co-executive produce.
Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Stephan James, Ari Graynor, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, François Arnaud, and Millie Brady joined the cast in June 2021.
Filming for the series began July 1st 2021 in Vancouver.
The series is set to premiere on July 29th 2022 with the first three episodes available immediately and the remaining episodes premiering on a weekly basis.
