Winter Duck House Design

We spent a lot of time thinking about our winter duck house design. And now we've just completed building our new duck house that was designed to withstand the cold winters of Vermont, but is flexible enough for summer use. Watch a short tour and hear the story of how we built this thing.

What to do with cider pulp? Make an apple seedling bed by spreading the pulp out in a garden bed. In this video I’m trying to grow apples from seed in a simple and impromptu garden bed. If this method works, it could yield me hundreds of apple tree seedlings. And it would all come from the waste product of making cider!
