Eid in Holland vs Eid in Pakistan

In the land of tulips and windmills
I wake up before the dawn
And dress up in my finest clothes
To celebrate the end of Ramadan

I head to the mosque with my family
And join the rows of faithful ones
We pray together in harmony
And thank Allah for all He has done

We greet each other with smiles and hugs
And share some food and drinks
We exchange gifts with our loved ones
And enjoy the festive links

But in my heart I long to see
How Eid is celebrated elsewhere
In a country where Islam thrives
And millions gather in prayer
