Rallycross R3 2023 - Atif Zarouni - Yamaha YXZ 1000 - Heat 2

Saturday 18th March the final round (3) of the UAE Rallycross Championship got underway with 3 heats and the best time taking the win. The route at Tilal Swaihan Motorsports Centre, reverted to the 3 laps of the quarry circuit as in Round 1. Atif Zarouni enters his Yamaha YXZ 1000 being recently upgraded and competes in Group 5, for Round 3 he has Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum also in this Group with his very fast Polaris Pro R, but Atif keeps up the pressure for overall positions with his fastest time of 2.12.836s about 5 secs off the faster Can Am Mavericks. Atif comes in 6th place overall and second in Group 5. Full Championship results will be declared on the Emirates Motorsport Club Facebook pages soon.
