Why you stopped watching stampylonghead

my retrospection/reflection on my first ever inspiration, stampylonghead. stampy cat, stampylongnose, stampylonghead or whatever name he goes by now was a huge inspiration to me when i was younger and has been a factor of many fond memories from my childhood.

so it is obviously sad to see that joseph garrett's youtube channel is not as successful as it used to be. he still get's lots of views from watching his older videos but it's sad to see that the next generation of kids aren't enjoying his content like me and a lot of others did back in the day.

stampylonghead addressed the concern that his channel was "dying" all the way back in 2017 with a video on his second channel stampylongnose titled: "Let's Talk - Is My Channel Dying?". in this video he discusses how he acknowledges that people don't watch his videos like they used to but how he doesn't really care that much and he won't change his style of content to try and pander to different types of audiences.

at the bare minimum i hope stampy is still enjoying the content that he makes even if it isn't to as such a large audience as it was back in the day and i hope that he's very proud of the fact that he was a lot of people's childhood heroes.
