"The origin of the bullfighting costumes is Arabic and it was the ladies who began to order these bullfighting dresses from their dressmakers, to later give them to the brave bullfighters.
MCY visits the Fermín tailor shop, where currently a suit of lights can cost up to 6,000 euros, depending on the amount and type of ornaments. It is not for less, if one takes into account that each suit is made by hand by approximately six people, and it usually takes about a month to make it.
In this tailor shop they keep costumes donated by famous bullfighters such as El Cordobés, José Mari Manzanares (father) and José Ortega Cano."
