Quick note about the extended introduction: I think that one of the things that no one really knows is that the piece before this was "Fanfare for a Common Man" by Copland, where all of the performers were in the rafters of this massive hall with one lone performer on stage doing tambora on the guitar, so it created a surround sound effect. All of the performers had to move from their places in the hall, get their foot stools and music, and then walk down the staircases, around the labyrinth to back stage and then enter. It seemed like the only real way to do this in a performance setting. No doubt it is quite extended on the video. But I hope that clears it up! Cheers, Scott
