The Day the Music Died

Buddy Holly, J.P. Richardson (The Big Bopper) and Ritchie Valens perished in a plane crash in a corn field in Iowa.
These photos were taken the night of their last concert on 2/2/1959 and the photo of the trio together was taken before they boarded the plane and is the last photo of them.
It was The Day the Music Died.
