مَا كُنْتُ أَهْوَى اللَّوْمَ، بَلْ كُنْتُ أَرْوِي قِصَّتِي وَأَقُولُ مَا فَعَلْتُمُ، فَكَأَنَّنِي أَشْعَلْتُ نَارِي بِيَدِي
إِنْ سَاءَ وَجْهُكَ حِينَ أَعْلَنْتُ الْحَقِيقَةَ فَاسْأَلْ فِعَالَكَ: هَلْ كَذَبْتُ؟ أَمْ أَنَّ مَا أَخْفَيْتَهُ قَدْ بَانَ؟ فَاسْأَلْ نَفْسَكَ
لَنْ أَحْمِيَ الْوَجْهَ الَّذِي خَذَلَ الرُّوحَ لَا ذَنْبَ لِي إِنْ كَانَ صَمْتِي مِنْ قَبْلُ قَدْ أَرْضَاكَ
مَا كُنْتُ أَهْوَى اللَّوْمَ، بَلْ كُنْتُ أَرْوِي قِصَّتِي وَأَقُولُ مَا فَعَلْتُمُ، فَكَأَنَّنِي أَشْعَلْتُ نَارِي بِيَدِي
قَدْ سَرَقْتَ أَمْنَ الرُّوحِ مِنِّي دُونَ ذَنْبٍ أَوْ سَبَبْ بَعْضُ الْحَقِيقَةِ قَاسِيَةٌ بِطَبْعِهَا… فَاسْتَوْعِبْ
وَالْيَوْمَ تَلُومُ شَكْوَايَ بَعْدَمَا ذَبَحْتَ صَدْرِي فَأَيْنَ كُنْتَ حِينَ كُنْتُ وَحِيدَةً فِي التَّعَبْ؟
مَا كُنْتُ أَهْوَى اللَّوْمَ، بَلْ كُنْتُ أَرْوِي قِصَّتِي وَأَقُولُ مَا فَعَلْتُمُ، فَكَأَنَّنِي أَشْعَلْتُ نَارِي بِيَدِي
أَيْنَ الْمَلَامُ؟ وَمَنْ يُلَامُ؟ الْقَاتِلُ أَمْ ضَحِيَّتُهُ حِينَ تُجْرَحُ دُونَ أَيِّ سَبَبْ؟
فِي النِّهَايَةِ يَلُومُونَ مَنْ حَكَى قِصَّتَهُ كَأَنَّهُ هُوَ مَنْ طَعَنَ وَانْقَلَبْ وَيَجْعَلُونَ الصِّدْقَ ذَنْبًا يُرْتَكَبْ وَيَغْفِرُونَ لِمَنْ سَطَا… لِمَنْ جَرَحَ… لِمَنْ خَانَ… ثُمَّ انْقَلَبْ
وَأَنَا؟ أَنَا فَقَطْ… كُنْتُ أَحْكِي قِصَّتِي.
