🇲🇽 CULIACÁN, SINALOA, Mexico - Welcome! In this 2021 Mexico Travel video, we’re once again in northern Mexico! I recently spent a week in Culiacán, filming 2 main travel videos and a 10 minute walking tour. Many people told me not to visit Culiacán because of the issues with the Sinaloa cartel and that generally, it wasn’t a ‘typical’ destination. When do I do typical?

Is Culiacán safe? Is Culiacán dangerous? Is Mexico safe? All questions regularly asked. But, take a moment to forget all that petrified immigrant garbage and consider Culiacán as just another city in Mexico. A novel concept, right? The people are BRILLIANT, the food (comida mexicana! sinaloa sushi!) is AMAZING, and the THINGS TO DO IN CULIACÁN are ASTOUNDING. By listening to mainstream media, you’re missing out on a spectacular Mexico destination!
