QM2 Post-Refit Cruise 21st-23rd June 2016

Queen Mary 2 underwent a million pound overhaul from the end of May 2016. New cabins were added, kennels extended, Grand Lobby glass lifts were removed, Winter Garden became Carinthia Lounge, Todd English was now The Vernandah and Kings Court redesigned. Other places had decor changes. She sailed from Hamburg on the 21st June, arriving in Southampton with her sisters for the major press event two days later. She underwent some sea trials on her pods during the sea day.

Saga Sapphire was passed while there was a thunderstorm in the English Channel.
