How Bad is Your Sciatica? Let's Check for Nerve Root Damage.

Thank you so much, lumbar coaching session client, for coming over to this video and performing these simple muscle tests for me. [If you are a cervical coaching client, please go to this video to see how damaged your cervical nerves are: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Alt6gZIF1_E&t=400s ]

As I shall state in the video, it's extremely important for me to understand your neurological status with regard to motor function, so please diligently test the muscles described in the video for me.

And one final thing, please email me the results of your testing immediately after your self exam or at the very least write it down in the pre-coaching session questions I sent you.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. I will be able to give you a better opinion about pain generators and about evidence-based treatment options for your condition because of this information.

Best,

Dr. Gillard

WARNING: for all you people who stumbled upon this video and are not my coaching session clients, please remember this information is strictly for educational purposes only. You should never act on anything learned from this video without first discussing it with your primary health care provider. And just because you test normally, does not mean that other components of your nerve root are damaged. Again, this is just for educational purposes only and should not be substituted for neurological examination by licensed healthcare professional.
