In this review of Disney’s Encanto we do not spoil any details in hopes that you will experience the movie and enjoy the wonderful surprises it offers.

On November 25th we went to see if Disney actually could capture the heart of “la familia Colombiana” and what sort of balance of magic and realism of our culture was represented. We we’re honored to have my uncle and aunt join us and they have spent most of their lives in Colombia so their feedback would be crucial to how this movie would land…
