The Howling Owl Family- Episode Two (Oliver Wilde)

Documentary series on Bristol-based DIY record label 'Howling Owl', their nurturing of a diverse new underground scene in Bristol and the community of artists, musicians and makers supporting it.

Electronic-folk artist Oliver Wilde became one of Howling Owl's first breakthrough acts, with his unique brand of beautiful lo-fi music that woozily nods to the likes of Elliot Smith and Nick Drake. This feature includes clips from his live set at Colston Hall at Bristol's 'Simple Things Festival', as well as an interview on his songwriting style, Bristol's reliance on small labels and more.
