Relaxing Walk in Heusden ⛅ | North Brabant | The Netherlands - 4K60

A very windy (as always this winter) but quite sunny walk in one of the most impressive fortification towns in Brabant, the Netherlands. In it's prime time they started the construction of the fortifications: from the end of the 16th century Heusden was a garrison town accommodating thousands of soldiers. The Second World War inflicted much damage but the town was fully restored, and Heusden received the highest European award, the ‘Europa Nostra’ prize for restoration.
