Being on a Ventilator, as Explained by Coronavirus Survivor
Nic Brown thought he was suffering from the flu, until he checked into the Cleveland Clinic and got some bad news. The doctor told him that he had tested positive for COVID-19, and shortly thereafter, he started to lose lung function and needed to be intubated. He spent three days in a medically-induced coma, and spent an additional seven days on a ventilator. Luckily, he came out on the other side alive. So, what does it feel like to be on a ventilator? We spoke with Nic Brown to find out.
